A couple weeks ago.. (every post starts with those words it seems like) I helped Denise and Carolyn can peaches and pears, it was really fun. I love learning new things and I like canning! They both grew up with crazy canning moms, good crazy, they may not think good since they were always helping with the canning. I do remember some great homemade blackberry jam my mom would make and she also did applesauce. I'm looking forward to doing it again in the future. Gardening and canning were what we did for our provident living adventures this summer.
