Pounders with the Rondos

Yesterday Levi and I were invited to meet up with Lindsay and Cameron at Pounders beach, we had never been there before. It's definitely our favorite beach on the North shore. The sun was out and the waves were crazy! We've heard they can get dangerous if you aren't careful so we all eventually jumped in after enjoying the sun.  Levi had to carry me in, he seems to think I take too long..and it's true, so he was carrying me and he tripped and we both splashed into the water. We both were laughing, it was pretty funny, we hurried and swam farther in so a wave wouldn't crush us. The waves were so powerful, such an adrenaline rush being in them, one second its big rolling waves the next you see a huge wall of water and your swimming towards it hoping you make it under it so you do not get pounded head first into the sand. After a few close calls we all were pretty safe. Levi would come up and gasp for air and told us the wave made him do a back flip, I was getting nervous after he said this a few times. My heroes were Levi and Lindsay who saved me from HUGE waves, that seriously would have done some damage to my body.. Thank you!

Cameron was too busy taking in all the waves, he is a surfer, he wasn't scared of anything . We wish Levi's family had gone to this beach instead of Sandys, it's more safe and the shore break is not so hard, the kids would have enjoyed it more. Anyway there is a picture of what it looks like...After we washed off all the sand which was all over us, Lindsay and Cameron came over for a delicious dinner, we watched a movie and played guitar hero. It was a fun day we had so much fun!
